TERMS & CONDITIONS A provisional booking may be made by email or telephone and will be held for 5 working days. pending receipt of a written confirmation and full deposit or payment as appropriate. Once we have received your confirmation we will send you a receipt showing the amount paid and the balance due. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. We do not issue you with a reminder and reserve the right to cancel the booking if the balance is not paid by the due date with full loss of your deposit. If you book less than 8 weeks prior to arrival we will require the full payment at the time of booking. A deposit of £150/US$200 per week is required with the booking. Confirmation will normally be made within 7 days of receipt of deposit. Once the booking is confirmed, the deposit will be non-refundable but will be deducted from the full rental amount due. A refundable security deposit will be collected together with the final balance to cover any breakages, damage or excessive utility charges whilst staying in the holiday home. In addition you may be held responsible for any damage or loss sustained during your period of reservation in excess of this sum. Should you require to cancel a booking after it has been confirmed we will require the cancellation in writing. The following cancellation charges will apply: 1. Deposit lost if cancellation is made more than 8 weeks before arrival. 2. 50% of the total cost will be lost if cancellation is made between 4 and 8 weeks before arrival. 3. The whole amount will be lost if cancellation is less than 4 weeks before arrival. If you need to make any alterations to your booking this may be done, in writing, at the owners discretion and will attract an administrative fee of £10.00/$15.00. Pool heating (recommended between October and March), should be requested when booking. There is an additional charge of £90/$175 per week which must be paid for within the final balance. In the event pool heating is requested and paid for, the owners cannot guarantee the temperature of the pool as this will vary according to different factors, predominantly the weather conditions at the time. The owner or owner’s agent will not be held responsible for any electrical or mechanical failure of pool heating equipment or other electrical equipment in the house. In the unlikely event of a complaint during your stay, please contact the management company immediately. In accordance with Florida State Law there must be no subletting, sharing or assigning the Villa to anyone other than the persons named on the booking form. Only the people named on the booking form are permitted to stay in the house and anyone who is not shown on the booking form will be asked to leave by our Management Company. You are asked to please note that the owners do not allow smoking or pets inside the house or grounds. You will receive all relevant details pertaining to our house once full payment has been received. The Villa is available for occupancy from 4.00pm on the day of arrival, check out time is 10.00am on the day of departure. The property will be cleaned before you arrival and again when you leave. If you do not check out by 10am you will be liable for additional rental charges. A telephone is available for your use in the house, with free local calls. No inventory item must be removed from the house. This includes pillows, linen and towels. Pool towels are provided for use around the pool only and should not be removed from the Villa. Any breakages or damages must be reported to the Management Company immediately. The owner or owner’s management company do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however caused. We cannot be held responsible for or be liable in respect of loss, damage or changes caused by force majeure (e.g. strikes, floods, closure of airports, weather conditions or other events beyond our control). It is the responsibility of the Guests to check all doors and windows are locked and the alarm system switched on when leaving the Villa. We specifically request guests to supervise children whilst using the pool. There is a safety fence which Guests are advised to use around the pool when children are present. We recommend Clients to take out adequate
holiday insurance to cover eventualities such as cancellation, accident,
sickness and damage. |
